Doug Duffey and B.A.D.D. Bring Soulful Louisiana Blues to Natchez for Two-Nights at Under The Hill Saloon
NATCHEZ, MS — May 2026: This month, the historic Under The Hill Saloon will host a powerhouse weekend of music as Doug Duffey and B.A.D.D. take the stage for a two-night residency on Friday, May 15 and Saturday, May 16, 2026.
Led by Doug Duffey, a 2025 inductee into the Delta Music Museum Hall of Fame, the band is set to deliver their signature “Swampedelic” sound—a potent blend of Louisiana Blues, Delta Soul, and Bayou Funk. Duffey, an award-winning singer-songwriter who has penned hits for legends like George Clinton and Rare Earth, brings over fifty years of performance energy to every set.
His songwriting prowess has earned high praise from industry peers. As blues legend Marcia Ball puts it: “Doug is a multi-hyphenated all-star, he sings great, plays great, writes great. He writes the truth and makes you dance to it.”
The band, B.A.D.D., features a lineup of veteran musicians including:
Dan Sumner on guitar and vocals
Benjamin Ford on bass

(Ferriday, Louisiana) On July 25, 2025, Doug Duffey was inducted into the Delta Music Museum’s Hall-of-Fame in Ferriday. Secretary of State Nancy Landry presented Doug with his induction certification and award. He received a star on the sidewalk outside of the museum, joining over two-dozen others who have been inducted over the years, such as Jerry Lee Lewis, Fats Domino, Irma Thomas, Aaron Neville, and more.
